Creating delicious watermelon ice cream/gelato in Cuisinart ICE-100
Ingredients :
3 Cups of watermelon.
1 Cup of sugar.
1/2 Cup of water.
1/4 Cup of lemon juice.
Method :
Place the watermelon to one side – do not heat.
Heat and dissolve the sugar in the water and lemon.
Allow mixture to cool for 30 minutes.
Pour the syrup into the 3 cups of watermelon.
Blend and place in the fridge for 3 hours or more (overnight?).
Take out of the fridge – Blend again.
Pour immediately into the ice cream maker.
Wait until firm (30-40 minutes)
Transfer to storage container and place the freezer overnight.
Server and enjoy.
